How to program your RCA TV:

Please note, you do need a blank USB flash drive.  

1. With the TV on, press the menu button. Once that menu pops up, use the RIGHT ARROW to scroll to the “TIME” (the icon with the clock)  section of the menu. Scroll down with the DOWN ARROW to the OSD Active Time and select OK, the turn it off (please note, we will have to turn this back on following the same procedure). Turn this OFF by selecting OK on the remote: 

2. Next, use the LEFT arrow to navigate to the CHANNEL menu (the icon with the smaller four squares). Once there, scroll to the Antenna option. Use the RIGHT arrow key on the remote to select “Air+Cable” 

     

3. Now it is time to scroll to “Auto Scan”, once there select OK.

5. Once that is complete, scroll down to “Remap Channel” and, using the RIGHT arrow key, choose from the following options: 

   1. CH Number – this option is the default setting. This will organize the TV numbers by the numbers they are assigned by the cable company. 

   2. Auto Index – reassigns all channels a new channel number in sequential order, starting with one,  and goes on through the rest of your line up. 

   3. Manual Index – This gives you the ability to renumber your channels as you want them. NOTE – If you have chosen this option please use the provided youtube link above to watch the step-by-step programming instructions.

7. Once you have selected your desired option, use the RIGHT arrow key to go back to the TIME section of the menu to turn the OSD function back on (default for RCA TV’s is usually 20s)

9. Then it is time to make a clone of your newly mapped TV. Go ahead and plug in your BLANK USB FLASH DRIVE. 

10. Using the RIGHT arrow key, navigate to the OPTION section of the menu. Scroll down, and select OK on “Commercial Interface Menu”

12. Go down to “Clone Management” and press OK.

14. Scroll down to “Clone Out”, then press OK.

16. When it displays “OK”, your clone is successfully saved.  

      

USING YOUR CLONE 

1. You can now take the USB to other RCA’s of this model that we are programming, and in this same menu (directions for accessing this menu are listed above) you select “CLONE IN”

3. After a quick reset, your channel map will be on the newly programmed TV as well!
