M Series Tips and Programming Guide
This guide provides programming instructions and essential
details for successfully interacting with the Dish Evolve M Series receivers.
The M Series receivers operate on two integrated platforms:
- Android
Platform: The primary operating system.

Dish’s configurations.
Important Note

the Onstream app is enabled and locked to keep the receiver in the
Onstream configuration (this will be covered in the below contents).

view RSSI levels, go to Network and Internet in the Settings menu. This
will display RSSI for each network.
Note: Developer Mode does not need to be disabled
afterward.
Troubleshooting Remote Issues
If the remote isn’t pairing or functioning correctly, ensure
it is on the correct firmware, which is automatically updated from the M2
receiver. The current remote firmware version is v00.15.
To check firmware:
- Go to
Android Settings Menu.
- Select
Remotes and Accessories > Onstream RCU.
To pair the remote with the receiver, locate the pairing
button on your receiver. Here are the button locations for M1 and M2 series
