How to set up Philips TV to connect to the internet
Attached is the guide to set up the master Philips TV to connect to the internet
With the black guest remote, press MUTE LEFT RIGHT UP DOWN
OK.
Once in Professional Settings, follow these steps:
- Go
to TV Settings>Sound>Sound Management>Headphone/Bathroom Speakers
and turn it off.
- Go
to Advanced>Power>Standby Mode and set to Fast.
- Go
to Advanced>Security>ProIdiom and set it to Free to Guest.
- Go
to Wireless and Network>Connect to Network and press OK.
- Select
Wireless.
- Select
the WiFi name.
- Press
Finish when connection is complete
- NOTE: If your Wireless Network redirects to a login page,
connection is not possible.
i.
Record the Wireless MAC address for all TVs.
ii.
This can be found on a label on the box or go to
Professional Settings>Wireless and Networks>Settings>View Network
Settings and press OK.
iii.
Provide this list to your Internet Service
Provider and request that they Whitelist all the Wireless MAC addresses.
- Go
to Channels>RF Channel Installation and Press OK then select Start.
- Go
to Switch on Settings>Channel Settings>Switch on Channel and select
the desired channel for the TV to turn onto.
Then
to clone those settings to a thumb drive you can put in other TVs here are the
instructions on making the clone and then using the clone. The Upgrade
and clone will be done in that same professional settings menu you make changes
to above.
- To
clone these settings:
- Put
a FAT32 formatted USB drive into one of the two USB ports.
- Go
to Upgrade and Clone>Clone TV to USB>Clone All Except Apps and
press OK.
- To
clone the settings above into other TVs:
- Turn
on the TV.
- Put
the USB drive into the TV when Instant Initial Cloning appears.
- If
Instant Initial Cloning does not appear, go to Professional
Settings>Upgrade and Clone>Clone USB to TV and press OK.
