Evolve S1: How to change/update Room number

It may be necessary to change the room number assigned to a unit. This is essential if an EVOLVE unit is relocated from one room to another.
  1. Enter the Settings Menu and navigate to “About”. Press OK.
    1. Accessing Settings Menus
      1. From the Main Menu, scroll to Apps
      2. Scroll down past the Featured Apps and Apps rows. The Settings Menu icon becomes visible. Once the cursor is on Settings, press OK.
      3. Access to the Settings Menu is restricted until the correct access code is entered.
      4. The access code is 1, 4, 7, 1, 2, 6, 8, 7 which forms a “D” on the remote keypad.
      5. Once in the Settings Menus, the Device row is the first row shown. 
  2. The “About” section displays the current room number and software version. With the cursor on “Device name”, press OK.
  3. Press OK again on the next screen to progress to screen where the new room number can be entered.
    1. For rooms with a single TV just enter room number ie: 201
    2. For rooms with multiple TVs enter the room number followed by @ and the identifier ie: 201@LR (living room), 201@BR (bedroom).
  4. Enter the desired room number, scroll to Next and press OK.
  5. EVOLVE will apply the new room number. A dialogue box will pop up indicating the new room number and associated zone which the unit will apply.

Note, a reboot is necessary to apply the new room number/zone.
